  1. Enjoyed the recent blog. I just bought a long sleeve swim top from Landsend and love it. It’s not too tight, easy to remove, cool and not constricting. We’ve been using long sleeves for our granddaughter when in the pool or at the beach for several years to protect from the sun.
    Concerned about contaminated strawberries right now, but have enjoyed them in salads in the past.
    Grew up in the 50s making whipped cream with sugar and vanilla and never knew it was “special chantilly cream.” It’s what my mother’s grandmother always made in the early 1900s. My grandfather had a strawberry farm and we often had fresh strawberry shortcake.

  2. I’m loving the long sleeved swimsuit fashion trend. I read about a blogger’s visit to Hawaii last year who said she saw women everywhere in rash guards.I have Nike rash guards that I wear with Nike swim shorts/bottoms and swim tops/sports bras. I enjoy spending time on the water and in the sun with my grandchildren so the rash guards give me the protection I need.

      Hi Patty – I am going to do some shopping to find a rash guard top for myself. I will feel hip and cool like a surfer girl. Thanks for telling me you like the Nike ones.
