Style Scouting: Vol. 206

Thanks for stopping by for this week’s Style Scouting. My Sunday post where I share the random stuff that captured my attention or inspired me that I found online.

Posts You May Have Missed This Week:

Last night we had a break from the heat and actually got to sit out on the deck and enjoy the balmy breeze, lake view and watch the sunset. It has been so hot up until now that we haven’t been able to enjoy the pastime this summer. I am hoping it is a sign that fall is on it’s way. Keeping my fingers crossed. :-)

Now onto the links I found this week.

  1. I’ve been following you for almost a decade now and although I haven’t kept up with blogs like I used to, your posts are always such a refreshing, positive place of creativity. I’m finally in the mood to transition to fall decorating, I think part of that was the cozy feeling of your blog. :) I went back through your older posts today, and some of your style scouting… So many genius ideas. I loved the recent filing cabinets for planters and your guest bathroom makeover. Your newest bathroom makeover looks great as well. Thank you for always sharing inspiration. Hope you have a great week.

I hope I can keep inspiring you. Today I started adding a few fall touches to my living room. I will post about the first later this week. Happy decorating. :-)

Hi Kate – I love how you simplified the process of adding the woven overlays. Many of the tutorials I have read on the process made it so much harder than it had to be. What you did looks great!!!
